JVC converter produced debut 3D recording at Royal Albert Hall

The first 3D recording by JVC's recently-released video production equipment had been choosen to displayed at the Royal Albert Hall.

At the London venue last month, the Prince's Trust Rock Gala was put on and people were able to see the production in 3D on a monitor during the concert.

The visuals using JVC's IF-2D3D1 image processor, which was introduced in January 2010 was produced by the charity worked with 3DD Productions and Nineteen Fifteen.

The equipment was designed to improve the workflow of 3D content producers,Compatible with a number of high-definition formats.

The technical giant revealed that it was launched in response to the "public's renewed interest in 3D for both theatrically-released content and beyond".

Being chosen for the prestigious event is likely to be a boost for the company, as renowned artists such as Eric Clapton, Queen, Tom Jones and Jamie Cullum all took part in the show.
