Brain May will rock Albert Hall with second performance
After selling out the Royal Albert Hall with their orchestral-rock collaboration,Brain May and Kerry Ellis have described their astonishment.
Matinee performance at the venue has been added due to massive demand announced today by the pair.
The pair will target songs from their album Anthems, released last year and described by May as "a kind of anthemic-orchestral-rock musical-theatre fusion".
May, 63, said Ellis was "at the top of her tree in the musical theatre world", adding that she also had "a great rock voice".
May said of the show: "This is a toe in the water - it's very much an experimental thing. We'll see what the reaction is at the Royal Albert Hall and take it from there."
